Verification and Validation

During the development and finalization of a project it is important to verify that the design requirements are met; this verification process is summarized in the expression “Are we building the product right?“. Also the product should be tested, preferably in location, to make sure that it meets the needs of the user; this process of validation is summarized in the expression “Are we building the right product?“.

Verification is an objective process where relevant performance parameters are measured and compared to the requirements. Some more discussion and statistical tools are provide in the statistical analysis section of this website.
